NAPOLEON HILL HAS CREATED A POST GRADUATE COURSE
FOR YOU!

It is because we sincerely feel that every reader of Think and Grow Rich should go on into this post graduate course, that we take the liberty here of giving a few brief side lights upon this brilliant work. Napoleon Hill’s Course presents the true Philosophy upon which all lasting success is built. Ideas, when translated into intelligent plans of action, are the beginning of all successful achievement. So this course proceeds to show you how to create practical ideas for every human need. It does it in easy-to-understand lessons. Napoleon Hill spent the better part of twenty-five years in perfecting this Philosophy of Success. During the long years he has worked on it, some parts or the whole of it, have been reviewed and praised by many of the greatest Americans of our times. Among them are included four Presidents of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Warren G. Harding, Wm. H. Taft; Thomas Edison, Luther Burbank, Wm. J. Wrigley, Alexander Graham Bell, Judge E. H. Gary, Cyrus H. K. Curtis, Edward Bok, E.M. Statler—dozens of glowing names in Politics, Finance, Education, and Invention.

Don’t waste your own precious years blindly searching for the hidden road to the heights. Profit by the dearly brought experience of America’s leaders. Over 500 great and prominent men of America were minutely analyzed—their methods, motives, strategy—to find out the secrets that put them on top. No matter whether you are rich or poor—you have one asset as great as the richest man living—and that is TIME. But with each setting sun you become one day older, and have one day less in which to attain the success and wealth you desire. Thousands of progressive people throughout the North American continent have realized this mighty truth, and have sought the help so clearly and inspiringly taught in Napoleon Hill. You cannot afford to let day after day slip into eternity, without getting possession of this course. You will profit greatly from the lessons in THINK AND GROW RICH. You will take even more brilliant and gratifying rewards from this course. The cost is trifling; the benefits are tremendous.

Vintage Essays By Judy Williamson, Director of the Napoleon Hill World Learning Center at Purdue University Calumnet

Dear Readers,

Hopefully, everyone had a great year in 2017 and I hope that 2018 is filled with greater accomplishments. When we achieve our goals, we are all faced with greater responsibility. Being successful puts us in a better place to help others. After all, no matter what level of success we achieve, it is best to remember that success is a journey and not a destination.

At some point in each of our lives, we will not be remembered for what we acquired, but for what we gave back. The New Year is a time for us to start over. It is easy to look back at our shortcomings in the previous year, but we should use those failures to make us better. Nobody can change the past. Instead, we can do a better job of studying and applying the principles of success in order to have a great 2018.

Studies have shown that a great difference can be made when we practice the Golden Rule principle on a daily basis.

I wish you the best,
Don Green

The Law of Success

GOLDEN RULE TALKS
by Napoleon Hill

“There is something as rotten as hell about the man who is always trying to show the other fellow up.” ~ Billy Sunday

One of the most destructive evils in this world is slanderous talk. It breaks human hearts and ruins reputations with a ruthlessness unknown of all other evils.

Slander resembles a double-edged sword – it cuts going and coming. It not only undermines the one slandered but, it comes back like a boomerang and gnaws at the reputation of the slanderer as well. The slanderer soon becomes accustomed to seeing only the petty sides of others. Little by little he bathes his own soul in the foulness of his own thoughts and words until he cannot see the beauty in anything or anyone.

He measures everything by his own standard. Take notice of those who slander or engage in any sort of suggestive evil speaking about others and you will see as clearly as you can see the sun on a bright day, that their words are but a confession of their own heart secrets. The faults which we find in our neighbors most readily are usually but a reflection of our own weakness.

“A man only begins to be a man when he ceases to whine and revile, and commences to search for the hidden justice which regulates his life. And as he adapts his mind to that regulating factor, he ceases to accuse others as the cause of his unhappy condition and builds himself up in strong and noble thoughts. He ceases to kick against circumstances, stops finding fault with his neighbors, and begins to discover the hidden powers and possibilities within himself.”

Here is a test that you can apply to yourself with profit: The next time the name of someone whom you dislike is mentioned in your presence see if you can either hold your tongue or speak no evil of that person. If you meet the test you have reason to be proud of yourself because you are vitalizing your personality with that peculiar brand of magnetism which will attract the best people in your neighborhood to you. You do not attract that which you want, but that which you harbor in your own heart; in fact, that which you are! This is in accordance with a well established principle which never varies. Through the operation of this principle, which is nothing more or less than the Golden Rule, you can rise to the heights in any position; you can attract customers or clients in any business or profession; you can make permanent friends of all whom you know, and, best of all, you can fill your own heart with self-respect and happiness which none who look for the meanness in other people ever experience. You can get any person to act toward you as you wish him to act by first acting that same way toward him, and then keeping at it until he responds in kind, which will be sooner than you might imagine. Try it.

Lesson from a Legend
by Jim Stovall

One of the many privileges arising from my work at the Narrative Television Network is the opportunity to meet and interview really wonderful people from all walks of life. Many of these encounters were compiled into my second book entitled Success Secrets of Super Achievers. The thought is that success is a pattern; it can be observed, followed, and duplicated.

I am reminded of my interview with Steve Allen, who is probably best known for his work in television as the creator of The Tonight Show as we know it today. Few people know that Mr. Allen has written over 5,000 songs and has a Grammy Award to his credit. He has written 32 books, and he was working on his newest one the day I showed up to interview him at his office at the studio in California.

The most amazing thing I found about Steve Allen is that he is a very ordinary, common man. He felt most comfortable talking with the camera people and the crew, and was very unpretentious. When it was time for the interview, the attitude he displayed was “I’ll do my job, and you do your job.”

I believe he revealed the secret of his success when he said, “I try to never lose touch with the common man. I just visualize a guy at home watching television, and if I can come to him at his level, he will relate to me and feel good about me.”

In his own way as a worldwide celebrity and one of the most talented and gifted people of our generation, Steve Allen has found the secret to greatness, which is his own personal form of the Golden Rule: Treat others as you would like to be treated. Not because it is some outdated theory, but instead, because you really believe everyone in the world has a vital function to perform, and everyone should be treated with respect.

As we go through our day seeking to elevate ourselves toward what we believe to be a success, let us never forget the lesson from the legend, Steve Allen: Treat everyone in the world as if they are a star, and the world will collectively make you a star.

Today’s the day!
Jim Stovall

The Path to Personal Power

by Napoleon Hill

This true lost manuscript from the “grandfather of self-help,” Napoleon Hill provides timeless wisdom on how to attain a more successful and wealthy life using simple principles.

Napoleon Hill first wrote The Path to Personal Power in 1941, intending it as a handbook for people lifting themselves out of the Great Depression. But upon the bombing of Pearl Harbor and America’s entrance into World War II, these lessons were put aside and largely forgotten–until today.

Discovered in the archives of the Napoleon Hill Foundation, this never-before-published work is made up of three easily digested lessons, each its own chapter: Definiteness of Purpose; the Master Mind; and Going the Extra Mile.

This concise book is a powerful road map that leads to a single discovery–you already have the power to attain whatever wealth, success, and prosperity you desire in life. All you need to do is walk the path without straying, and the rest will follow.

Using these lessons, you have principles to live by that will help you stay on your own personal path to power, and achieve success that you never thought possible.
