Philippians 3:7-8

But whatever things were gain to me, those things I have counted as loss for the sake of Christ. More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord…””

In 1993, I was set on a course to count everything a loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. To know Jesus and make Him know has been my definite major purpose since that time and remains the burning desire behind every action.

This pursuit led me to attend Southeastern Bible College and upon graduation to serve at Jesus is the Key Church in Melbourne, Florida, where I have remained planted since 1995. Marrying my wife in 2010,while at Jesus is the Key, my definite major purpose found its expression and articulation specifically in music. I have been graced to hear the Song of the Lord in the midst of the seasons of struggle and growing through the process in order to become the product of God’s will. Countless songs have been written through me, in this process, to unveil the privilege of knowing Jesus.

It was in 2018 that I first read, “Think and Grow Rich.” This exposure ignited a series of events that led me to the great fortune of meeting Mr. Don Green. As each obvious step became clear, I took a step…and then another…and another…

I have studied the PMA Science of Success, as taught by Dr. Hill, and continue to study, while implementing the 17 principles from a Biblical Perspective.

I now have the great fortune, each week, of presenting the songs that have been written through me over the decades, for the continuance of pursing my definite major purpose: To Know Jesus and make Him known.

Notes

“Honey… we have a problem!”

“What’s the issue, Darling?”

“There is water everywhere in the house because the main water line burst!”

“No problem…I will immediately call the cardiologist!

Not all actions and decisions are good ones. A cardiologist may be extraordinarily competent at open heart surgery, yet in this scenario… it is better to call the plumber. But not all decisions are this absurdly obvious.
